Terms and conditions
By using tikitna (the website and its services), whether as a visitor or an organizer, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
"The platform" means tikitna. "The organizer" is the party presenting an event and selling its tickets. "The buyer" is the person booking a ticket. tikitna is a technology provider for selling and verifying tickets — it is not the organizer of any event.
2. Accounts and registration
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your password confidential. Organizers pass a review before they can publish events.
3. Tickets and entry
- A ticket is valid only for the event named on it, and scans once at the door.
- Forging tickets or reselling them outside the platform is prohibited; tikitna and the organizer may refuse any ticket that is not valid.
- Showing the QR code (from the email or the ticket page) is a condition of entry.
4. Prices, payment and commission
Prices are shown in Jordanian dinars. tikitna charges a published commission (a percentage and/or a fixed amount per ticket) added on top of the price, and the organizer receives their share net of it. Payment is taken securely online through an established payment provider. Where a payment method does not support the dinar, the amount is charged in a supported currency at a rate disclosed at the time of payment.
5. Cancellation and refunds
The refund policy is set by each organizer. A buyer may request a cancellation from their ticket page, and the organizer approves or declines it. If approved, the seats return to sale and the amount is refunded under that organizer's policy.
6. Organizer responsibilities
The organizer is responsible for their event's content, the accuracy of its information, staging and running it, complying with the law, and dealing with attendees and their refunds. tikitna is not responsible for the cancellation, postponement or quality of an event.
7. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is". tikitna works to keep it running reliably but does not warrant uninterrupted service, and its liability does not exceed the commission paid on the transaction in question.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and will announce material changes on the site. Continuing to use the platform means you accept them.
